How exactly do you make money if there is no markup?

We charge a service fee on the value of the goods, invoiced separately so you can see it plainly. The factory price you see on the quotation sheet is the factory price we pay. Nothing is quietly added into your unit cost. Sourcing, quoting, sampling and freight comparison cost you nothing - you only pay the fee when you actually place an order.

Can I really see what the factory charged you?

Yes. We forward the factory quotation sheet as received, line by line, alongside our own service fee invoice. If you want to speak to the factory directly you are welcome to - that transparency is intentional, because a relationship built on hidden margin does not survive the second order.

What does the service fee cover?

Supplier identification and vetting, price negotiation, sample coordination, consolidation across multiple factories, pre-shipment inspection with photo and video evidence, export documentation including dangerous goods paperwork, and single-point accountability if something goes wrong.

What payment terms do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Standard terms are a deposit against the order with the balance due before the container is sealed, paid by telegraphic transfer or a payment channel we agree together in writing. Larger recurring programmes can discuss extended terms once we have a track record. Every term is confirmed in writing before money moves.

Can you handle dangerous goods like engine oil and aerosols?

Yes, and this is where experience matters most. Petroleum-based lubricants, solvent cleaners and aerosol products carry transport restrictions that stop many buyers cold. We prepare the MSDS, confirm UN classification, obtain the dangerous goods packing certificate and route only by sea where required. We classify every SKU before quoting freight so your landed cost does not change after booking.

What happens if the goods arrive damaged or off-specification?

Because inspection happens before loading, most problems are caught at the factory rather than at your port. If something does reach you defective, we raise the claim with the factory on your behalf, provide the inspection evidence, and credit or replace according to what we agreed before the order. The remedy is written down before you pay, not negotiated after.

What are typical minimum order quantities?

It depends on the category. Additive concentrates can start at a few hundred litres. Accessories can start at carton level. Private label chemical runs commonly begin around 500 to 1,000 units per SKU. Can I consolidate products from several factories into one shipment?

That is the normal way we work. Most overseas buyers need five or six product lines that no single factory produces. We collect from each factory, warehouse the goods together, inspect everything in one place and load a single container or LCL lot. Consolidation is usually the single biggest saving available to you.

How long does the whole process take?

Quotes come back within hours, sampling takes one to two weeks including shipping and your bench testing, production typically runs seven to twenty-five days depending on the category, and transit depends on your routing. We give you a realistic schedule before you commit rather than an optimistic one afterwards.

Can you put my own brand on the products?

Accepted Answer

Yes for most chemical categories and accessories. Private label requires agreeing minimum runs, label artwork clearance and often a packaging specification. We negotiate those terms before you commit, and we tell you plainly when a factory minimum is higher than your volume justifies.

Do I need to worry about product compliance in my own country?

Accepted Answer

You do, and we will not pretend otherwise. Import regulations, chemical registration and labelling rules differ by market and remain your responsibility as the importer of record. What we provide is the documentation you will need from the Chinese side - MSDS, composition data, certificates of analysis - so your compliance work is straightforward.
